FAQ
Do you sell ready-made jewellery?

Yes, all the items are hand-made by me in my workshop in Cornwall, UK.

Can I purchase your jewellery online?

You can order and purchase on the website.

Not every piece of jewellery I have made is always available to buy online, so if you would like to purchase an item that is not listed, please contact us to discuss.

How will my order arrive?

All orders are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Your order will be presented in a Piere Andrews branded gift box, wrapped in tissue. The parcels are left plain on the outside to avoid any attention or giving away a surprise gift, there is a return address on the outside for insurance.

If you have purchased a gift for a friend or family member, you can have your order sent directly to them and if you would like a gift card with your personal message, we can arrange this for you.

Just leave a note at the checkout.

Do you have a showroom?

Unfortunately, I do not, and I only sell online.

What metals do you use?

I can make jewellery using precious metals, sterling silver, gold 18ct Yellow & White, 22ct Yellow gold and platinum.

What is your starting price?

My ready-made jewellery starts at £45, so there should be something for you or a gift regardless of your budget.

How much does it cost to have something made?

Bespoke jewellery is always tricky to say how much will it cost. It depends on many factors.

Questions like, what precious metal, do you want stones, is the design intricate, etc.

To give you a rough idea, a plain band silver ring starts from £60. Gold engagement rings start from £1500. Prices do fluctuate due to bullion prices.

How long does it take to have a bespoke item made?

Usually 6-8 weeks, once you approve the design.

The design process can take from a few days to a few weeks depending and a lot depends on the client and their ideas. During your initial consultation a clearer indication can be given.

Can I use my old jewellery and stones?

Yes, we can. It does depend on the metal and purity and the type and quality of stone. Some metals are not suitable for re-melting down and reused as they can crack when worked. They would need to be sent away to be refined. If the metal is of a high enough purity like 18ct gold, it can be used to make a new piece of jewellery for you.

What do I need to think about before my initial design consultation?

It is useful to know or think about the following points before your initial consultation.

What jewellery do you or the person you are having it made for already have, that you/they wear? Photos of these will help build a picture of the design and style for the design.

Do you have any images of jewellery or design that you or the person you are having it made for, love?

What is your returns policy?

For ready-made items we offer a 14 day return period. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept earrings back unless faulty.
